What is Faultory?
Faultory is an interactive investigation platform created by Yunus Emre Vurgun, a Turkish software developer and IT specialist working across software engineering, artificial intelligence, industrial technology and digital systems.
It turns the depth of a research archive into an active learning experience. Instead of reading only the outcome, you examine evidence, compare explanations and trace how a chain of decisions or conditions made an event possible.
A researched case, not a race to the answer
The collection begins with 24 investigations across engineering, scientific discovery and complex systems. Some explain failures. Others show how a careful observation changed what people understood. A case may end with a clear mechanism or with an uncertainty that the available evidence cannot resolve.
The reasoning steps are designed for curious nonexperts. They are editorial reconstructions, not a claim that you are reenacting every decision faced by the people involved.
Independent, and deliberately simple to use
No account, signup or cloud progress profile. Your notebook stays in your browser. The core content is available without JavaScript, and the offline edition downloads the case library so you can return to it without a connection.
Occasional relevant links to the creator’s books support the project. Those placements do not determine the evidence or the conclusions.
Keep the record open
Every case includes sources and a statement of its limitations. AI tools assist research and drafting; this does not make an explanation authoritative. Read the original documents, challenge a claim, and send a correction when the record calls for one.
